    What is Biodegradable Plastics?

    Bioplastics are plastics derived from renewable biomass sources, such as vegetable fats and oils, cornstarch, or sugarcane.

    Biodegradable plastics or Compostable plastics are a kind of plastic that decomposes naturally in the environment. This is achieved when microorganisms in the environment metabolize and break down the structure of that plastics to be water, carbon dioxide, biomass and no harmful materials remain in the environment.

    • Plastic takes 450 years to decompose
